Parada Firmware

Complete open-source firmware developed for the rocket that I designed and built with my classmates for the Czech Rocket Challenge. The firmware handled onboard electronics, sensor data acquisition, and telemetry during flight.

Design of a custom printed circuit board from the initial schematic to the final PCB. The project included component selection, circuit design, PCB layout, and prototype testing. There's was also a Power Board which has a smart Power Path chip and voltage stabilization

Awards & milestones

Achievements

  1. 2026

    2nd Place in the Regional Round of the Student Professional Activities Competition

    Together with my classmate, we built a 1U CubeSat. My work focused on programming the RP2040 microcontroller and designing several PCBs, including the power, data, main, and radio-frequency boards.

  2. 2025

    3rd Place in the Student Creative Activities Competition

    Together with my classmate, we achieved 3rd place in the high school category of the STOČ competition, organized by Tomas Bata University in Zlín. We presented and demonstrated our 1U CubeSat prototype to the competition jury.

  3. 2026

    1st place in the category design and structure of a rocket in CRC

    On July 11th, my team, ParádaSpace, and I won an award for the best rocket hardware and software design amongst all of secondary school and university teams in the Czech Rocket Challenge national competition.

  4. 2024

    6th Place in the National CanSat Finals

    On May 9–10, 2024, we represented our school with our newly formed team, PARÁDA. During the first day of the competition, we watched our can-sized satellite being launched by a rocket. The rocket subsequently crashed due to technical issues during the launch. On the second day, we presented our collected data and explained the functionality of our CanSat to a panel of experts at the Brno Planetarium.

Secondary Industrial School in Frýdek-Místek (POJFM)

I study Information Technology, with a focus on programming, computer networks, operating systems, and other areas of IT.

Cybersecurity Intern

Next Generation Security Solutions (NGSS)

In May 2026, I completed an internship at NGSS, where I gained insight into how a cybersecurity company operates in the Czech Republic. I explored practical cybersecurity processes and SOC operations across L1–L3, while also gaining experience with the company's marketing and logistics activities.

Electronics Repair Technician

FixIt Merrion

In March 2026, I participated in the Erasmus+ programme, spending three weeks in Dublin, Ireland. During my placement, I worked at an electronics repair shop, gaining hands-on experience with the diagnosis and repair of electronic devices.
